An Inside Look at our Maisha Workshop!

Our Maisha program is our fashion and design workshop in Kenya with a purpose to make a difference in the community. Our Maisha Workshop is located in Eagles Point Camp, overlooking Lake Elementaita in Gilgil. The goal of this new workshop is to provide a space to educate vocational trainees on fashion and design. 

All projects are made from upcycled materials and sales benefit our mission! By creating authentic and unique products from waste materials, Maisha transforms waste into new apparel from scratch. All products have inspiring stories behind them. Our project is a living thing hence the name Maisha which means life in Swahili.

We’re still working out the details on what this space will include, such as exactly what the workshop will include, such as sewing machinery, furnishings and other supplies. We also hope to incorporate office space for nisria’s programming, and more! The potential for the space is amazing.

We look forward to opening it up to kids in need.
